Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress, musician and playback vocalist for Tamil films and Malayalam film. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. She also has one younger sister, currently employed as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea, who began classes in classical piano when she was eight, has been classified as being a "geek" and was aspiring to become a psychiatrist until her 12th grade board exam. Young Stars, a Jackson Five group that she was a part of at the age of 10, was her foundation to sing and compose music. While at college, she was also performing as a theatre artist in stage productions produced by The Madras Players. Andrea was the president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate.
