Lis Wiehl is an American writer and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries on National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She is a regular guest regularly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File is hosted by Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs this evening. The Imus Morning Show. The Legal Lis Radio Show and Wiehl of Justice Podcast.
Wiehl is she is a Yakima native who graduated from West Valley High School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal correspondent to NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She was tenured professor of legal studies in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
