Summer glau

Firefly the new Whedon hit series, was a result of a one-off show. Summer Glau was very good playing the challenging role of River Tam. Tam, as the character from the film was called, was subjected to government experiments that were designed to make her the ideal assassin. Tam lost her ability to control her emotions as a result. Glau's fighting skills were also demonstrated in the show Firefly. Glau's training as an assassin allowed her the chance to utilize all of her athletic abilities. Summer Glau has been a ballerina since she was an infant. The talent she displays in her dancing also include the study of flamenco and tango but it was a broken toe that ended her dancing career. Firefly had only one episode but it became a massive success. Whedon came back to it several years later. In the meantime though, Summer Glau continued to get some quality work. Her television work included Cold Case and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
